Cat5 KVM Switch also referred to as Rackmount KVM Switch over Cat5/Cat5e/Cat6 cable, enables users to control multiple Servers (up to 256 Servers) from a single or multiple locations. These units comes in 8, 16, and 32 port configurations in 1U. The servers can be placed up to 40 meters (130ft) away from the KVM Switch. These KVM units eliminate the need to run long and bulky 3 in 1 KVM cables, as the extension is over a single Cat5/Cat5e/Cat6 UTP cable. This KVM over CAT5 Switch supports DVI-USB, VGA-DVI, and VGA-PS2 server interface. It offers multi-platform capability and users can control a mix of SUNs, MACs, and PCs with DVI or VGA for video and USB or PS2 for Keyboard and mouse. Cat5 KVM Switch has built-in features like dual power fail-over safe, multilingual on-screen display, and hot key command support. All our Cat5 KVM units come with CE, FCC, and RoHS agency approvals.

CAT5 IP KVM Switch allows users to access the KVM Switch via TCP/IP (World Wide Web access from remote location). These IP Cat5 KVM Switches support IP security features like SSL V3, RSA, AES, CSR, https, and up to 15 user login (only one active user at one time).
