DVI Multi from Caratar Electronics is a perfect enhancement for an existing system or designing a new video distribution system. It can be easily integrated into any system and provide perfect DVI video quality to all connected displays, with absolutely no loss in signal quality, even at 1920 x 1200 @ 60Hz. The unit splits the video input signal into 1, 2, or 4 different outputs, depending on the model desired.
The remote displays can be extended up to 220 feet away from the controlling computer. This is ideal for many applications in which the controlling computer needs to be remotely located in a secure area away from the DVI displays. When the CrystalView DVI Multi units are powered up, the EDID information from the locally connected monitor is read and saved in flash memory. Once saved, the local DVI monitor does not have to be connected or powered on. All models offer a local DVI connection for viewing video on a locally connected DVI monitor.
